The Great Gig In The Sky is track 5 on Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon. In The Dark Side of OZ the song plays three times throughout the film. The following is the first time the song plays, it is during the tornado sequence when Dorothy is trying to hurry home and ends up the the land of OZ. Unlike the strait synch of The Dark Side of the Rainbow this version is cut to precisely fit the score. There are 10 edits in all to make the synch perfect, there are 5 synchs in the uncut version and 15 in the new edit.
